Medication Refill Policy

A $50 fee applies to paperwork and form completion. Please allow two to three business days after the office receives all required information. An appointment may be required before paperwork can be completed. Business days are Tuesday through Friday, excluding holidays and office closures.

Please contact the office to discuss the requested paperwork and any appointment requirements before submitting it.

Patients must call the office to request medication refills at least seven days before their medication runs out, while they still have at least a full week of medication remaining. Please monitor your supply and plan ahead.

Medication refills are not completed the same day. Each request requires time for the provider to review the medical record, confirm that treatment remains appropriate, and safely authorize the prescription. This process will not be rushed for safety reasons.

Requesting a refill does not guarantee approval. An appointment, laboratory testing, or other monitoring may be needed before a prescription can be renewed.

Prescription refills will not be processed during provider vacations or announced office closures. Patients must contact the office well in advance, at least seven days before the closure begins, to allow time for review and to arrange an appropriate medication supply. Do not wait until the office closes or your medication runs out.

If you anticipate running out of medication before a refill can be arranged, contact the office promptly for guidance. Do not abruptly stop or change prescribed medication without medical advice.
